I'm well stocked on the pain pills, thx!

There was only one person I knew that was supposed to be at NYCC that I was looking to avoid (racist/sexist/nazi memorabilia collector). Thankfully I never laid eyes on them.

I'm going to take an anxiety pill now. Ha ha.

They had no reason to know who I was, or care, I busted in on their interview!

I thought you thought I was a random weirdo! Aaaagh!

Second: Saw DJ Lance sitting with people but no line/fans. Thought I'd try to say hi. He recognized me, remembered us from YGG days. Talked for about a minute and then someone tells me -- kindly --that they were in the middle of a live podcast interview. Mortified. Bolted as best as my hip let me.

My two NYCC moments to bring up w/my therapist Thursday. Not terrible, but my social anxiety was already in gear. First: Said hello/introduced myself and shook hands w/someone in artists alley that I know (not well), realized they didn't recognize/hear me and I slunk off feeling like a weirdo. 1/2

I have no idea, and I don't know anything about 3D printing tbh.

I'm already booked that same week for IP Theft Print Parade On Ice 2027

Most comic conventions should just change their name to commerce conventions. I know folks enjoy NYCC and I hope everyone in Artists Damnation Alley makes bank but I was expecting the Soylent Green people movers to bust in any minute so the hucksters could slab marked up people crackers for resale.

Funny enough I got an e-mail from the band earlier this year o do a poster for their east coast leg of the tour. Never heard back from them, they reused Chynna Clugston-Flores' excellent west coast designs.

Thanks to everyone who came by the @darkhorse.com booth for the signing I did with Geof Darrow. It went well, but, man, NYCC is hard on the senses. Four days of that would kill me. Life leeching. Only stuck it out about 3 1/2 hrs before bailing. Favorite thing there was the Yakult mascot.

So I'm at the NYCC entrance waiting a half hour for the contact at @darkhorse.com to get back to my text so I can get my badge for my signing at 12. Maybe my text didn't work? Emailed and left phone message bc this is making me anxious. Oy.

It's Pete Walker's last movie before he retired, all of his horror films are worth checking out esp Frightmare/Cover Up (1974) which has the great Sheila Keith in top form.

I love this, been on a Kôji Shiraishi binge lately between Youtube and Tubi.

It has a bad rep but I thought it was kinda adorable. Obviously the cast is the main deal.
