people that write about exploiting #AI in their research but have no clue about AI (often using a #LLM to write their posts) - for all that somewhat know how AI works/is applied, it sounds really fake and brings your #credibility down. Can we all please be real? a challenge in the current climate

last saturday we partnered with @livunihls.bsky.social's public engagement team for their regular 'meet the scientists' event at the eureka! science + discovery museum. our stall (led by @ejjohnson93.bsky.social) aimed to show that scientists can be programmers too and was a huge success!
