iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I hear some kids these days are buying digital cameras again. I love that! I still have and occasionally use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 I got for Christmas in 2010. This camera has been through a lot, multiple overseas trips, been dropped a few times and has […] [Original post on mindly.social]

Great success! New #bicycle stand installed. I had to use some of the hardware from the old one because the screw that came with it was too short for my mounting plate. Also had to improvise a bit and add a spacer so the new stand doesn't touch the rear tire […] [Original post on mindly.social]

Have I posted lately how much I love my CubeXX? No? Well, I've been playing Pokemon on it (almost) every day since I bought it. #Anbernic #retrogaming #pokemon

I'm sad to report that the screen on my RG 40XXV that I thought I fixed has died after all. Thankfully the seller gave me a full refund and I don't need to send it back. HDMI output works fine so this could still be a non-portable console... hmmmm #gaming #anbernic

Wide screen or square screen? Why not both! OK I won't buy any more consoles, I'm happy now. #retrogaming #knulli

Currently playing #Pokemon for the first time ever and having a blast! I decided to start from the beginning with Pokemon Red for the Game Boy. Today I found a Pikachu and I killed him! I was going to hit him one time so I could capture him but he was only […] [Original post on mindly.social]

If anyone remembers the Pyrex bowl peasant bread recipe I posted last week, here is my second attempt at it. The first one turned out more like a crumb cake. I think my water for the yeast was too hot. This one worked much better and more bready. Great with […] [Original post on mindly.social]

Last post on this topic today, I promise. I have decided the new Anbernic handheld will be my dedicated device for Game Boy and Pico-8 games. They just feel good on it! The screen doesn't photograph well, it looks better in real life and doesn't have those […] [Original post on mindly.social]

Quick comparison between the Anbernic RG 40XXV and TrimUI Smart Pro. Even though the Anbernic is a better fit for the 4:3 ratio, I think I'll keep playing my PS1 games on the TrimUI because the screen is just so much nicer. Higher resolution and pixel density […] [Original post on mindly.social]

This thing is perfect! OK nothing is perfect, actually when I first got it the screen fell off (lol) but nothing a little hot glue couldn't fix and the seller gave me a partial refund so I am very happy. Basically I got an #Anbernic RG 40XXV for $35 and I have […] [Original post on mindly.social]

I'm having a blast playing old games on my new handheld console, like "Saiyuki - Journey West" from the original PlayStation. Sun Wukong has been one of my favorite characters since I watched "Havoc in Heaven" as a child. Reviews compare this game to Final […] [Original post on mindly.social]

Goodwill is the last place here locally that I know of that still sells CDs. I got these for 99 Cents each. The Schubert one is my favorite at the moment. #music #CDs

4 CDs in jewel cases: Schubert - String Quartets, Vivaldi - The Four Seasons, "More Amadeus" music from the movie, and a budget compilation called "Classical Beethoven".

Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate. Please enjoy this totally original art I created without A.I. or talent.

Fun fact: I have never purchased an album with a dog in the cover photo and been disappointed with the music. Now I wonder if the same holds true for cats or horses or birds or elephants. More research is needed. Which ones am I missing? #music #albums #dogsofmastodon
