Re: your original post - how did the Mets not discover whatever flaw was in his motion or how he might have been tipping pitches based on running footage of his Brewers starts and his Mets starts. It seems the Rays figured it out after only 4 starts. 3 Runs in final 34 IP. 1 in 10 2/3 in playoffs.

The real argument against it has to do with how it was most frequently used to acquit defendants of lynching and other civil rights violations of newly emancipated people following the Civil War and all the way through Jim Crow. But, these current critics supported jury nullification in those case.

Sadly, one of the best traditional makers of sweaters in Ireland has closed. O'Maille in Galway kept up the cottage industry. They sent orders to hand knitters in their homes throughout County Galway for decades. But, with fewer knitters & the proprietor aging, they closed their doors two years ago.

34 years ago I faced a guy who threw ~90. He went on to Virginia Tech before hurting his arm. I K'd swinging in my first AB, and grounded out to 2B in my 2nd. I don't remember what happened after that. I can't remember if I faced him a 3rd time. It was uncomfortable. That's slower Miz's changeup.

OMG I was sorting through some old bookmarks and clicked on the Smithsonian Zoo's Cheetah Cam link which I hadn't active in a long time. It turns out they have a cheetah who just had cubs on 10/5 and they are so cute. They're on the Den 1 stream right now.
