If the top of the ticket goes blue, I don't know that TXLege is necessarily gonna flip. But there's gonna be a lot of collateral damage in every level of local election that GOP candidates haven't faced in a generation.

Aminata Seck has been freed. "I'm just ready to go back to school, get my master's and get this surgery done,” she said. ICE kept her in pain in detention for two months for no reason. www.espn.com/womens-colle...

I know Ellis county has been growing, but any metroplex growth closing the gaps out there? My genuine guess is it's probably efforts to bolster top of the ticket there and in East Texas versus being worried they actually lose such a red district seat.

When this group of goons is ousted, and I do think they will be, there is going to be tremendous media noise about finding common ground and coming together. Absolutely not. I will not forget the people who helped hammer at the foundations of civil society and helped imprison and kill my neighbors.

Between a bot calling Ossoff praise hasbara, and the multiple replies I’ve gotten where people are escalating to violent rhetoric out the blue like they’re trying to build a case for entrapment I’d caution everyone to remember the police are in this space even if they’re not identifying as such.

I don't remember getting GOTV texts from Republicans for Texas House District 1 ever in my life. I don't think it's gonna be close, but what is their polling showing if they're trying to GOTV in that race?

The Saints sold 37 of the jackets, designed to look like a thrift store find. Then came the Stump Party.

It’s good that losing in week 2 doesn’t mean a good team’s season is over anymore. I’m not really open to arguments to the contrary, I’ve heard every version of them and none are compelling to me. There’s no other sport where this logic is true and there’s no reason it would be in college football.

FCS has 24 and it works great. Every game matters, every conference championship matters. I remember one season, SFA automatically getting into the playoffs came down to like 7 outcomes on the final day of the season. Iirc, 4 teams were in contention for the autobid on the last day. Much better.

010

ETX Gov @etxgov.myatproto.social · 09/10/2026

A playoff is such a better system. Especially considering that before this, 50ish teams didn't have a chance from the very first kickoff of the year, even if they won every game. "Now every game doesn't matter" what? 10x more games matter now.

It's a shame they don't still make the Ford flex or else I'd recommend that. But the Carnival kinda hits that same flavor. I've never driven one, but the social worker that dropped off K raved about how great it was for her 4 kids and for transporting kids in her day job, if that helps.

ETX Gov @etxgov.myatproto.social · 09/10/2026

That is my ideal, depending on which room they pick. I've got so many cool wallpapers and decals saved. The texture on the wall in the larger room is easily the roughest I've ever seen purposefully done. It's cool, but might hate decals lol.
