For what it's worth, this is the email I sent to Senators Warner and Kaine today:

The Trump administration is behaving LITERALLY lawlessly, refusing to spend money appropriated by Congress, taking back money already granted, applying tariffs without Congressional approval and firing for no reason thousands of valuable civil servants who provide necessary services to Americans. Allowing them ANY kind of "victory" at this point is foolish and destructive to the constitutional order, and approving the budget proposal passed earlier this week by the House of Representatives will just make it easier for the illegal, unconstitutional activity to continue, while simultaneously giving up more of Congress' Article I powers. Please hold the line and uphold your oath to the Constitution.

I am dismayed by the lack of decorum in the H of R. With Rep. Comey using an 8 letter word related to cattle excrement, not to mention this exchange: I long for propriety. Where Rep. Moscowitz would say "my distinguished colleague from Kentucky's MOTHER didn't have any complaints about my suit."
