"he put out his wide and long tongue which reached upward to the Brahma world. he emitted innumerable and immeasurable colored rays of light from all his pores and universally illuminated the worlds of the ten directions."

a screenshot from "Pokémon the Series: The Beginning" episode "A Tent Situation" showing a Lickitung standing with its long and wide tongue stretched out and its two cute little arms raised up

& with apologies to @chenchenwrites.bsky.social (misquoted from www.instagram.com/p/C-luVIJPQ5r in my 3am brain zoomies):

misquotation of an instagram post by Chen Chen. text is: katamari is about all the big subjects: (gay) love, (gay) loss, (gay) god, (gay) ass, that one (gay) tree, (gay) lunch, describing things as they are (i.e. gay), dismantling the world as is (in a gay way), being a (relentlessly gay) hater, the sound of (gay) joy, the abyss of (gay) grief, hanging out (also in a gay way), (gay) moonlight, and bagel

‘cuz you see, when you really put everything on a katamari, it becomes this. the (gay) truth. all the (gay) pain and (gay) guilt you feel for making nothing of your (gay) life…goes away. sucked into…a katamari.

still from the film "Everything Everywhere All At Once". a close-up shot of Jobu Tupaki's face as she introduces Evelyn to The Bagel, speaking the lines which are misquoted in this post and the previous post.
