Remarkably original. One of the most unique zombie movies in years. More of a drama than a horror movie. Moody and somber, the story goes in unexpected directions from start to finish.

Our teenager hosted a school’s out party for her friends. Anytime anyone said anything the crew thought was false or made up or misleading the rest would yell “That’s AI!” Yep, artificial intelligence is synonymous with bullshit for Gen-Z. The kids are alright.

Why is it even legal to build an AI data center without every square inch of the roof covered with solar panels? I know that wouldn't be enough to feed the machine completely, but they should be required to offset their footprint as much as humanly possible.

This looks very well executed, and I'm sure I'll enjoy watching it, but I don't love the tone. This is clearly going to be for mature audiences, and I would've preferred a Green Lantern for all audiences, or at least PG-13. That said, both Jordan and Stewart are perfectly cast.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Bringing this into the real world seems like such a big misstep. They made the same mistake in the 80s movie. I get why a studio would be nervous in the 80s to make the whole thing in Eternia, but in a post LOTR, GOT, MCU, DnD, BBQ world audiences can handle a fantasy world on its own.
