hey, my name's Jhin. I'm a 24 years old artist from Brazil— I've been emotionally manipulated by my family since I was 19 and forced to accept the responsability of taking care of my unstable grandmother on their behalf. now that i can't bear it anymore, I have nowhere to go.

I love beatrice, but i understand that she doesn't fit a mc o secondaey mc role, is like wanting a indiana Jones film where the protagonist is one of the side womans that appears in every Indy movie, it just don't works

The big and grump Trudy Mayweather Lately I've seen a lot of art by the great @sirjoeythe23rd.bsky.social, and I decided to gift him with a fanart of my favorite of his characters.

big and stonk owl belongs to @silentwingsnf.bsky.social i love his design and wanted to see more often (I'm in a terrible art block, so I'm doing character art of people I follow, just messy sketches)

I think it would be more accurate to say that you don't feel good about the repetition itself, and not about drawing the same character.

Exactly, that's the spirit of it, my friend. I am certain of your potential.

Well, I hope some of my few tips are useful to you. As someone who greatly admires your work, I hope you succeed with your story. I'm eager to see how far you and your art can go

Etcetera @etc190.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

Well, I can't really give much of an opinion in this aspect of your life, but a small tip I can offer is that you at least try to write down some simple interactions, nothing too big or daring, just honest with yourself and your work. sketching a little this ideas will be a huge help for you

Etcetera @etc190.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

It's just an observation from a viewer, but I think it would be cooler to have mini-comics of them showing their routine and how they interact in their world rather than just static images of them posing (not that it's actually the problem)

000

Etcetera @etc190.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

My advice would be to try creating short stories with your characters interacting. Most of your art shows them alone or accompanying OCs from commissions, which makes it difficult to create a background for them .A main and side don't have much of a foundation if they don't interact.
