Behold the snake.

A four panel comic. In panel 1, there's an image of a closeup on the head of a yellow morph timber rattlesnake, with text above it that says "Behold the snake: Cunning, cruel, and bloodthirsty, it embodies evil and sin.
Who knows what malevolent thoughts lurk in its mind?" In panel 2, the snake is zoomed out slightly, and a thought bubble rises above its head with three dots inside it. In panel 3, we're zoomed out more to see the whole snake curled up on a rock with a colorful background behind it, and there's a thought bubble rising from its head that says "Mmm warm sun." In panel 4, we're zoomed out even more, and the snake is sitting on a rock at the top of a hill with green grass and trees, a vibrant background of mountains and lakes behind it, and a bright blue sky with a golden cloud and birds flying. The snake is thinking "Nice day."

Luthien & Huan, cultivator & her spiritual dog🌾 For the "Cultivation" prompt of #TolkienTrewsday #TolkienTuesday #Tolkien For this piece I mixed Tolkien's fantasy with cultivation novels, a subgenre of xianxian fantasy where characters refine their spiritual energy through martial arts and music🎶

Coloured illustration of Luthien and Huan. They both appear sitting in a green field, with mountains in the background and a pink sky.

Huan appears as a fantastic black and white huge dog. Luthien as a young woman wearing a blue hanfu with her dark hair half up tied with two hair sticks.

She's playing a guqin and there is a beam of light coming out of her right hand and spiralling in the air, symbolizing the spiritual energy of the melody she is playing.

(ooc: I wanted all of the text on one post, so it's a screenshot ^_^))

There is an open door, where there were no doors before.

It stands, unsupported by wall or roof, in a clear open space and appears to lead nowhere at all – each side being perfectly visible to those looking at it.

The only sign that it is not an inexplicably abandoned piece of architecture is the fact that it hums softly, almost like the quiet buzzing of bees.

This and the carving on each of its sides; the word ‘’Welcome’, repeated three times, in whatever language those looking at it are able to best understand.

These two things, and the fact – unbeknownst to all but their crafter – there is not one door, but many.

A greyscale picture of a cloudy sky over rocky hills. in the centre of the picture there is a wooden doorframe with a door opening towards the background and showing the scenery behind it.

t’s always a good time for Sauron & Adar’s cursed love and Pride month is not exception🌈😎 A combination of the prompts “Coronation” + “Red” + “Morgoth” + “Children” for the #TROPbloodmoon week we celebrated in March (it took a little longer than expected, ahem)🌚🩸

Colour illustration of Adar and Sauron in a dancing position; Sauron is holding Adar by his waist and leaning towards him. Adar pose is limp except for the Morgoth crown he is holding up, over Sauron's head, upside down so that the longer spikes threateningly point down at Sauron's head, who seems to be unaware of the menace. The crown is surrounded by a halo of light with four rays spreading into different directions. They are both gazing into each other's eyes lovingly.

Behind and surrounding them can be spotted a crowd of Uruks with bright red eyes, some of them with surprised faces and some others with wide menacing smiles.

The colours used are bright reds, pinks and oranges against the coldness of blues and purples.

Comic strips for some of #TROPbloodmoon🩸🌑 prompts: "Morgoth", "Names", "Children". Giving glimpses of Sauron's name at the time they met and the origin of Adar's name; of the origin and "purpose" of the Uruk children, and also the way Sauron and Adar related to Morgoth. #TheRingsOfPower

Comic strip in dark blue and bright red colours:

-FIRST PANEL: Sauron is kneeling under the shadow of Morgoth, which seems to come from the next panel.

-SECOND PANEL: Morgoth appears sitting on his throne in menacing majesty. He is talking through two speech bubbles:
The first one, which is overlapping with the previous panel, says: "I HEARD YOU SAVED THE LIFE OF THAT MORIONDO, AGAIN, AFTER A RIOT IN WHICH HE GOT IN THE WAY OF THE WHIP DESTINED TO ONE OF THE URUK SLAVES?"
The second speech bubble, beneath the previous one and overlapping with the next panel, says: "WHY DO YOU KEEP SAVING HIM?"

- THIRD PANEL: Sauron appears again kneeling, now his head raised and bright eyes open, talking through two speech bubbles interconnected.
He says: "MY LORD, ADAR STILL PRODUCES THE STRONGEST URUKS IN YOUR LEGIONS. HE IS ALSO VERY RESPECTED AMONG THE URUKS, HE HAS MITIGATED MANY CONFLICTS IN YOUR MINES AND FORGES"

Single comic panel making a close-up to Sauron's bright gaze as Morgoth adds some more words through a bubble speech that floats in the air. He says: "... WE WILL SEE HOW USEFUL HE IS"

A darker blue panel framing both the panel of Sauron's gaze and Morgoth's speech bubble.

Single panel of Adar, almost unrecognizable with his long hair down to the ground and the rags and bandages covering his body. He is sitting down in a curled up position, in a dark background with faint beams of light surrounding him, his legs bent, his hair covering most of his face and holding an Uruk baby to his chest. One of his ankles is covered in chains. The baby is grabbing some of Adar's very long hair in their little fist.

The previous speech bubble repeats here Morgoth's words: "... WE WILL SEE HOW USEFUL HE IS"

Next to her another one wearing armour, a quiver of arrows and adorned with branches, is sitting down with her hands linked, smiling at the spectator. Under her two others are lying down lazily, both also looking at the spectator; one of them is wearing a long sun-cloak that covers all her body and a skull on her head; the other wears armour and furs. A little apart, another one is kneeling on the grass, covered in furs and adorned with a horned animal skull. This is the only one whose eyes are closed with a serene smile.

If you see this, post your black and white art! 🖤🤍

Black and white illustration of Adar relaxingly sitting on his "throne" in Mordor, holding on his gauntleted hand an open book where you can read "Ainulindalë" and below the word "Rúmil".

He is looking away from the book to look at someone else with a smile. His sword is resting on the seat frame a little behind him.

Black and white illustration of Adar crouching down by a wooden table where two Uruk kids are sitting down and playfully enjoying a pot of honey. All of them are wearing fur cloaks and their eyes gleam in the faint gloom of the environment.

In the lower right corner there is a boiling kettle placed on a pile of burning firewood. The steam that it emanates rises in spirals to the top of the illustration.

Dark black and white illustration. It depicts a young dark haired Elf cladded in rich black clothes (Maeglin) standing in front of a sitting prisoner wearing rags and his dark hair very long, who still has Elven features despite the many scars covering his body (Adar).

They look at each other silently, probably seeing a little of themselves in the other.

The scene is set in a dark dungeon cell where the brighter light comes from the bars (probably a torch), located just behind Maeglin at the left and gleaming on his back. Another door with bars can be seen at the bottom of the cell, as well as some bones and skulls scattered on the ground.
