FYI: I’m on last 2 weeks of my Masters thesis before I submit it. I’m having a lazy weekend as it’s in final polish, & I’m not entirely sure what to do with myself… I’m considering PhD, by publication as topic is new & everchanging. Monograph is a slog I don’t want to repeat: 40k words was not fun.

Ours has gone up too, despite Tasman energy trust rebates and free weekends. (Fully insulated house, double glazed and situated for passive heating) This was before we got an EV, which we charge during our free hours and has added maybe $50 a month max.

Good luck! We did click & collect yesterday to avoid crowds. We’ve only one shop left: local veggie shop for fresh sourdough & veggies. Reading posts on the vegan pages, nope. Worries me about those with allergies (eg me + 🥚= 🤮) Recent read post had a vegan served meat, fish, dairy & then told they couldn’t be bothered bringing them food from the other building… luckily they could afford food deliveries.
