Picked the wrong weekend to go to Auckland Art Gallery. My favourite bit was shut for renovations and there wasn't much exciting stuff on. I still love just being there, it's such a spectacular space to be in. Just... Not much art going on 🤨

Just had a misdirected email from Turkish Airlines saying that I'm booked on a flight to Istanbul. I didn't know about this and had no plans to go to Istanbul, but I guess I'm off to Istanbul.🤷‍♂️ 🛫

Another interloper! Hero seagull has spread their wings horizontally in front of the fish head as if to block the interloper's access. Hero's beak is fully open, with a militantly furious expression that makes me sure that they are swearing the sky blue in Seagull Language.

A ship in Tauranga Harbour, New Zealand, is being handled into her berth by two (unseen) tugs. The ship's name is 'Whero', which te reo Māori (language) for 'Red'.
She's a refrigerated transport ship, one of many used for sending our Kiwifruit around the world.

Food shopping for 1-2 weeks (small household), and a tank of petrol for the car. $535 NZD. Holy heck.
