worst-case scenario is they forget it's even there

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

ok I'm not one to comment on this sort of thing but when I saw "Aces vs. Fever" trending I genuinely thought people were debating which of the two most recent Mario Tennis games were better. My apologies to the WNBA, that wasn't even the right sport.

I fuckin' hate Veggietales.

I saw one in the new Lindsay Ellis video and I genuinely popped off. She called it "a tiny, school-lunch-cafeteria cup", though, so make of that what you will.

ah yes, the iconic quartet of Mario, Baby Mario, Green Mario, and the tall one.

010

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

yeah, I get it. Thomas fans can get pretty overbearing.

000

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

oh right it comes out today also I didn't know you were a Thomas fan?

100

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

It's gonna keep happening, and it's gonna keep being funny.

000

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Happy 80th birthday, Thomas, I guess... Damn it all. I wish Wonders of Sodor was a better game, especially for the price.

000

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

lol why would anyone do Scandinavian

100

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I... did not even consider that interpretation.

001

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

you guys remember when people were complaining the Link's Awakening remake looked too toylike? 'Cuz I dooo~

000

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

the general consensus Ocarina of Time remake is either "ew ew ew ew ew ew EW" or "This is perfect. My childhood is back." There is virtually no in-between, lol.

y'know I'm not sure if a mermaid would enjoy hot springs

000

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

but like the good kind of nutty, I just want to make that clear

141

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

I love all the little details in that scene; like Mona's little lean forward, or the lack of shine on Orbulon's shades, or 5-Volt clearly about to go full Demon Mode.

000

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Oh wow, some of these are quite good! And then there's the Sonic R piece.

140

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I still think that Fujiwara no Mokou is a fantastic portrait of immortality. Alternative Facts in Eastern Utopia made me really like Aya, too. Yuugi is hot. Aunn is both very sweet and funny. Yukari is just plain cool. Ah, there's too many!

As it turns out, each Robot Master has a set of THREE stages, with the newbie being the boss of the final act. "Astro Man R" here is the boss of Twinkle Girl's second act. bsky.app/profile/ulti...

I mean she became a magician to stay young so I would expect nothing less than "damn"

I like Queen, but I really like that she has proper servants, too. She's a true monarch.

010

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

OK yeah I double-checked: It's the 10th movement "The Bogatyr Gates (In the Capital in Kiev)"; which is also a part of Cathedral Pictures, starting at 3:45.

001

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Oh, the song is "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky. I didn't know that by heart, I just recognized it from Animusic 2. Cathedral Pictures is an arrangement of this same song... I think. The name certainly fits.

I guess I'm a CowBoy now. Normally, I wouldn't bother with a personality quiz, but this one is both very stylish and very professional. It's practically a game in and of itself! Give it a try.

the results of a completed personality quiz viaundertale.jadenthejaded.uk
the outcome is Justice at 78%, then Integrity at 63%, and so on.

000

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

She's one of four fan-created fighters (her, Olympia, Mollo, and Hodan) that got canonized in the game. Not sure if she will come back in Rivals 2, but Olympia made the jump, so it's possible.

010

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

wow that panel is really upsetting

010

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I guess that depends on when he plays it on-stream or for the channel, which is what qualifies it for this tier list

010

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Still going at it! Some have been removed, others have been recharacterized, and some have yet to be seen!

oh I am DEFINITELY bookmarking this

all jokes aside, "roaring silence" is a badass oxymoron

030

I realized, only after watching the entire animation, that it was a part of this video, which I had JUST paused to look at your post. Oops???

120

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

wait, why is there even a "Booyah!" button in this game? evidently, for moments like these

000

Iblitz @esotericdynamo.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

this is the first one of these that actually kind of pisses me off. The official box art is beautiful! Why would you even TRY to replace it???

the "Seth" in Illusion of Gaia is also a purple-clad, bespectacled youth. They both have the same Japanese name, "Morris", too.

an image of two characters named "Seth", (the one from Deltarune, and their inspiration of the same name from Illusion of Gaia) both of whom are very purple.
