I've played like dozens of hours of PvZ on DS this year. They're fuckin' designed wrong; the best way to use them is to just dig them up the instant they chomp a zombie and then immediately replace it. It's so stupid, just... make 'em a slow plant like Wall-nut, make them eat faster—problem solved!

I don't really have a solid idea for who should be in the hypothetical Poker Night 3 except that Gromit should be the one playing cards and Wallace should be sitting off to the side and chatting with the other players, kinda like Max in Poker Night 2.

UGH I HATE BlueSky's video player. It never works in-browser on mobile; and on desktop, if you don't watch the video from start to finish, the audio WILL decouple and the whole thing gets desynched. Here, I've included a video clip of my "epic gamer skills" so you can see what I mean.

the recent release of Plants VS Zombies: Replanted has really given me a newfound appreciation for the simplistic beauty of its game design. It's a truly wonderful game. ...not that I've been playing the Replanted version. GOD no. I'm playing my childhood DS copy!

So, just to follow up on what I said about Bananza pre-launch: the whole "kid Pauline" schtick still makes barely any sense, but the idea that Lady from the original Donkey Kong is in fact Pauline's grandmother (paralleling Cranky Kong being the current DK's gandpa) is a pretty neat explanation.
