With poly-husband's current schedule we barely get time for phone/video calls, much less seeing each other in person. It's been weeks and is really starting to get to me. Our anniversary was last week, and all we were able to do was meet up for lunch. It's not enough and I'm constantly missing him

I had a rough day at work today. Being super tired from not sleeping well was affecting my fine motor skills, so I kept dropping things and keeping the products I was stacking stable. I was hit in the head twice but boxes that fell when the stack was getting high. I'm so glad to to be home

I finally have a new job that is in the town we live in!! I was offered the position at a Petsmart warehouse last week and tomorrow is my first day! No more commuting! It's also a 4/10 schedule with Fri-Sun off, and $4 more per hour than I've been making. It's such a relief mentally and financially

My eldest and I definitely feel this way from time to time. For me it usually manifests as wishing I could just sleep for days and not have to think about or handle anything. I do usually prioritize naps or just 'vegging out' with a show on during these times, and that does help some.

Pridefest today! The kiddos and I had a great time! We moved here last Sept and I love that our house is only a couple of blocks from the park a lot of events are at, and near downtown but far enough away from the traffic

I'm working on making my own spell to do under the new moon on Monday. Planning it going well, I just need to start fine tuning it. I also made a sigil to go along with my intention for it, and which was like a meditation in it's own right and I'm happy with how it turned out.

I've finished reading two beginner witch books that are very good, "Make Your Own Magic" and "The Rebel Witch". They both have prompts for things to try and good explanations of different options. Now that I've read through them, it's time to pick what to research/try first and build from there.

Being short staffed at work is really starting to wear us all down. We have 6 people, it takes 10 to do everything effectively, and we should have 12-14 for a buffer Since most of us are really good workers we're (unfortunately) scraping by most days. Which means management thinks it's fine.

Poly-husband bought me Subnautica 2, for us to play together. I haven't played the first one yet, but I like it a lot so far. This is probably the...4th? 5th? survival game he's wanted us to play together this year. He tends to lose interest in less than a month, so I never know how far we'll get

Work was rough this week and it wore me out. I am so glad it's Friday and I don't have to work tomorrow. I was working 9hr days to make time for forklift driver training. Earlier hours will mean I can carpool with hubby, and that will save us money, as well as wear and tear on my car.

My husband's mom passed away suddenly a week ago. Her health wasn't great, but how fast it happened to us all by surprise. It's been rough for everyone, and the cost of an unplanned trip to Michigan made it extra stressful. We're so glad that we were just up there for Mother's Day and saw her then.

Allyn(15yr old) and I heard about the Little Nightmares: Altered Echoes vr game this morning, and instantly got it. He was so excited that I bought it right away, and was giggling and squeeeing with joy. I love how animated he gets about his interests. He's playing it now and having a great time.

Winter(17yr old) is so excited to have the new Tamadachi Life game, and has been playing it so much since Thursday. She had played the previous game through an emulator and loved it, so she was counting down the days for this. I've played it quite a bit as well, and it's just silly fun.

So, the Mortuary Assistant movie was a huge disappointment. It completely missed that the suspense in the game was a big part of what made it so good. Adding in the more violent/slasher elements was completely unnecessary and changed the tone.

Poly-husband recently got his official ADHD diagnosis and took his first dose of adderall while I was visiting this weekend. The difference it made was very apparent to both of us. He told me how his brain felt "calm". He was so present the entire time, and I felt more connected because of it.

Coming out as non-binary today, I guess. Both my kiddos realized early on that they are non-binary, and that led me on my own journey of thinking about my gender. Today I chose 'non-binary' instead of 'female' for the first time on a form, because picking a gender didn't feel right anymore.

I've been binging through The Magicians and just finished season 4 (I'd watched the first three seasons as they can out but only watched a couple episodes of 4) That finale was so emotional, my eyes hurt from how much I cried and I am not okay. 😭😭
