Fun milestone: Luminous Music Player has been installed from the Microsoft Store in 50 countries!

I don't like calling photos "captures" either. Apparently I'm opionated about minor things. 🙂

It's a personal preference, but I try to avoid calling them "tracks" in Luminous. They're "songs". Calling them tracks makes me think of "content", another word I've grown to dislike. #Music #BuildInPublic

Just treated the same as a usb drive. So I'm going to add syncing and some UI for space allocation. This one can handle FLAC etc but I'll need to add transcoding and some filename restriction options for others.

Bought a tiny Hiby R1 so I can add support for portable music players to Luminous. So cute! 😍 #BuildInPublic #Music store.hiby.com/products/hiby-r1

Have to admit #MetaMuse has been helpful where other agents haven't been. Sending me new music updates with links I want, movies at my local theatre, etc. Nothing complicated but other agents would find some reason they couldn't do it. Muse is: "There's a CAPTCHA. Want me to do that for you?" 😄

Excited how the updated parametric equalizer is coming together in Luminous #BuildInPublic

Watches for new files. Smart playlists are dynamic and will add any file that matches their requirements. There's automatic playslists for metatags like genre and decades. This adds a new one for a file path.

Are you old enough to remember recording songs from the radio? Received an interesting user request to make automatic playlists from folders. Upcoming Luminous release adds smart playlists based on a folder location. #BuildInPublic

I've got OpenSubsonic working with Luminous. Wasn't too bad to extend streaming from a WebDAV library to supporting Navidrome. #BuildInPublic

I really like KDE Plasma but it’s so configurable that I never stopped tweaking it. Using COSMIC desktop more and it fulfills most of my needs and I don’t constantly fiddle with it.

Saw #ResidentEvil last night: WTF? WTF is this? WTF is that? WTF are you? Austin Abrams is very likeable and relatable as his day gets progressively worse.

It's also fun using design tools like Affinity again. I went from print publishing in the '90s to web publishing in the '00s overlapping with software development in the '00-20s. The tools change, but the workflow is still familar after 30 years.
