half my revenue comes from in-app ads. on mobile, ads still work. on web? ad blockers make sure you get all the traffic and none of the money honestly running a web app in 2025 is wild — it’s like opening a store where 90% of customers sneak in through the back door and leave without paying

recently canceled my adobe subscription — wasn’t using it enough to justify the cost but if you’re on a 12-month plan, adobe will try to hit you with a cancellation fee (about 50% of the total yearly price) adobe operates like a gym membership from hell here is how to avoid it:

big companies love to turn simple tasks into a whole olympic event small team: you see a problem, you fix it big team: you file a ticket, CC five people, schedule a sync 6 months later nothing changed but there’s a 30-page report and by the time something happens you dont even work there anymore

something big going on with recent game-related hacks: first Arma Reforger recenly released on consoles getting DDOSed by russians for more than two weeks destroying the game and now PlayStation Network being down for almost a day — meaning no multiplayer games, which bring majority of income

spent four hours at the cinema watching The Brutalist while it had some interesting and unique cinematography, i’d say the film felt undercooked overall. wouldn’t recommend it — especially given how long it is too much quantity, not enough depth — a stronger script would have helped #filmsky
