esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 12/02/2026I've even got a list like the one from @t0nyyates.bsky.social lol No I won't "be normal" about anything, dude who got mad and put 100k people on a list. I'm a gremlin, it's on my profile. And I'll say what I want about stuff too. 000
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 28/01/2026Honestly it still blows my mind that I pulled this combo. Never felt so seen by a random generator. 010
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 10/01/2026Cleaning house with one of the best mixtape soundtracks of all time. 022
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 02/01/2026This post of yours struck me the other day, it's fantastic and really resonated with me. bsky.app/profile/myrm... What I love is the sloping brow. It reminds me of a sketch of my own, which I did years ago, long before I ever heard of you (2021). Your work made me want to reconsider it. 100
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 28/12/2025Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Alice in Chains 020
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 05/11/2025I love this! I did something which is real extra of me (sorry for that!), and noodled on your page styles a bit. I love what you've got, but it helped for my own legibility. gist.github.com/esmevane/37e... Mostly I blocked up some text and applied some tones (taken from the robes on /principles). 100
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 23/09/2025Oh my god. It's been a long time since I've felt like a ruby fan but I think I just hit the brink of "how soon can I totally stop supporting this ecosystem" while reading that. 040
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 12/09/2025You understand that they chose to add the "Problem"? That was a conscious intent of theirs. The other item isn't "solving a huge problem", it's offering an alternative to the default. The game isn't happening to you by accident. They didn't blunder into making a game and go "oopsy we made it hard". 020
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 12/06/2025The models whenever you give them the feedback that they shouldn't just make up code shaped things, they actually need to write something that compiles, and works as well. 000
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 10/06/2025fwiw (not really a big deal, just thought you'd like to know!) it seems like the "snap to full opacity" effect actually isn't happening in Firefox, it just fades from its starting opacity 110
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 03/06/2025Check out this bad boy: this is designed to use inference to create a lookup table of other types, from a generated client library. I later use that type-based lookup table to generate loads of global failsafes which turn most of my API-related runtime errors into type hints / warnings / errors. 100
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 30/04/2025All of this is for my pet collab editor project because I keep getting into holes where I have functionality that I want to add but I don't actually care about where it goes necessarily. It can be invoked from a command runner for all I care, until I need to put it somewhere that's fine. 120
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 31/03/2025I'm reading a thread right now where a bunch of (genuinely!) smart people are talking about responsive / interactive webpage stuff and half the posts are just dragging on JS, but they haven't mentioned anything you'd need JS for. 000
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 19/03/2025An illustration I noodled on while putting my son to sleep, from a while ago. Took me about a week. I like to play with just one brush and just one tone. At first to practice, but now I just prefer it. 132
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 19/03/2025yes seconded. i'm glad i read all this. here's a collage of bowie with wolves, which i keep in a folder on my desktop at all times, in gratitude 121
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 18/03/2025fully I have some modes on my screen, most of the time it's full screen but I also have a "general communication / work" screen and it's got an arrangement, that's where spotify is, and I fully keep this much visible. and even that's too much! 110
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 07/03/2025this. it's weird how often they chase people out to other networks to scold them, too. 010
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 11/02/2025lol! 🤝 here's another one - i've had this on deck for a while now because my friends were trash talking beans. it comes in handy 020
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 04/02/2025Clicked a cool science link earlier today and the Independent let me scroll a normal looking article for a second before doing this to my page. Anyone know of a search engine that penalizes mobile ads? That's my new criteria. Mobile ads -> lower ranking. 000
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 02/02/2025trying to figure out send/sync closures always leads to some kind of existential quandary 010
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 30/01/2025I have suspicions that my little chatbot Bonzi Buddy keeps forgetting its context and so I've come up with a foolproof plan to verify that it hasn't lost the plot 000
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 29/01/2025Cursor autocomplete has high hopes of rust's set type support. 030
esmevane, sorry @esmevane.com · 28/01/2025oh my god what is going on with this import statement's formatting how did they even convince the formatter to leave this alone 110
