Fascinated by this guy in Bubblegum Crash for the PC Engine (as seen in @randomstranger.bsky.social's video on the game) who appears to have nostrils on the top of his nose, I know that's not what those lines are but it just looks so fucking weird to me.

A character in Bubblegum Crash for the PC Engine whose nose is rounded in such a way that makes the two little accent lines on its bridge resemble nostrils on a pig's snout, at least when viewed from a certain distance and angle with my terrible eyesight.

So it turns out the Shipwreck world event in Brighter Shores has a glaring flaw that makes it very easily cheesed: fish keep spawning over and over again in the same spots!

Results from the 9 PM (EDT) Shipwreck event where I came in first with 66,410 total points. 64,775 of those were from fishing.

Running into an odd problem with UZDoom 5.0: every TITLEPIC displays in green rather than the normal color palette. In-game graphics are normal. Anyone have an idea what's causing this?

Plasma rifle acquired, not enough to fully deal with the map's first Caco swarm, this is where you really miss the SSG.

Aftermath of the second fight in Reldressal Crater, where I had to push through a ton of hitscanners and Imps to grab the plasma rifle and deal with the Caco swarm that came in from behind me when I hit the switch that opened this room. Health is now 16%, armor 29%, 316 bullets, 31 shells, 1 rocket (still no rocket launcher), 120 cells. I've used every medkit in this room. We're now up to 145 kills out of 6130!

Downloaded a Doom 1 slaughtermap with 6K enemies, things are going well. 😝

I have 59% health and 48% armor, 232 bullets, and 34 shells (also 1 rocket and 20 cells because I picked up a backpack, I don't have a rocket launcher or plasma rifle yet). The bodies of multiple zombiemen, Imps, and Pinkies litter the ground in front of me. I've only killed 66 enemies.

Actually I think it's the timber cart, which is separate from the lumber bank (which was already inside the workshop). Anyway, here's how the character manning the cart explains how storage banks work.

Marden explains how the interconnected banks in Hopeforest and Mine of Mantuban work: "Your items will be safe. The wardrobes create a magic sub-dimension linked to your biometric signature."

Combat update got delayed a couple weeks, so today's Brigher Shores update adds feeding chopped-up apples to an ox to get it to move a lumber cart. 😝

Spent almost 2 hours last night trying to get an oak tree enchantment potion reagent to drop from these fucking goblins. Log on this morning, it drops in less than 5 minutes. 🙃

Brighter Shores screenshot: I've highlighted the Bumbleweed Enchantment Potion Reagent in my inventory. It only drops from the goblins in Goblin Camp in Hopeforest. These goblins are now almost a full milestone below my level because of my combat pack choices so it wasn't even that productive an XP grind.
