Oh my good lord, I'm wilting Screenshot from the @metoffice.gov.uk - and I disagree with the line "feels like 29" - no it doesn't - it feels like I'm melting in my office!
Screenshot of the Met Office forecast for my area in the UK from the next hour (29 degrees), Today topping out at 30, Tuesday is 31 degrees, Wednesday dropping to 27, Thursday dropping to 21, same as Friday and Saturday, with Sunday being a far more reasonable 19 degrees.

Head has been shaved (grade 10). Hair has been colored. Dry hair has been waxed, spiked and styled. This current UK heatwave might only be here for a week, but it's seriously too much to hope that running hot due to perimenopause will only last that long!

When do you like to tackle your biggest tasks? Do you like to get a few "quick wins" in first thing, before you take on the big ones, or do you dive headfirst into it? I do both, depending on the day and how I feel at the time!

Just your normal reminder from me to make sure you clear all your starred emails in your email app of choice. If you still need to act on them, keep the star, if you don't, remove it! Job done! (Even better, add them to @clickup and make time to act on them!)

Do you journal about what happened at work? Do you process your thoughts and feelings surrounding your workday through journaling? Do you journal throughout the day, when you've finished work, or in the evening?

Just me with a reminder to keep everything running ticketyboo! Today, it's @waveboxio. When was the last time you cleared your images? Don't know how → Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear all browsing data uncheck everything except "Cached images and files." Voilà!

Are you most productive in the morning, afternoon, or evening? Have you organized your schedule to take full advantage of your sparkle hours?

Just a teensy reminder to clear your desktop & downloads folders and put everything where it needs to be! Don't leave it too long, otherwise, you'll forget where they go and why you have them in the first place!!

All of us have a work schedule, whether we work for ourselves or other people. Have you ever wondered if your schedule works with who you are and how you like to work? If you work for yourself, is there anything you can edit to improve it?

Just a small reminder that if you use a Stream Deck, you should probably back it up! Open up the computer app, head to Settings (the cog), then under Profiles, click the down arrow at the bottom of the screen and select Backup All, then Create BackUp. You're welcome!

Are you scheduling regular breaks at work? You know you should be right? I know we tend to push through and just get shit done, but doing that takes longer than it would have taken you to just take the bloody break!

For all my Google friends out there, this is your monthly reminder to head to myaccount.google.com/permissions on ALL your accounts, & make sure you've removed access for apps you don't need anymore! They stack up without us realizing! This is a reminder for me too!

Do you use the Pomodoro method? Do you find it helps? Regular breaks are essential to get your creative juices flowing, and I'm wondering if anyone has found that they have space for ideas when they intentionally create space in their day to have them.

Downtime is where the best and most creative ideas happen. For me, that's normally when I'm in the bloody shower without a pen! I can put all the processes in place to capture these lightbulb moments, but they mostly require a keyboard. Voice notes for the win!

Taking regular breaks from our work, to stretch or go outside and smell the fresh air, really do wonders for our output. I know we all want to get things done, but our bodies need a rest, they need down time.

If you work from home and live with other people, have you clearly communicated what that means for them? Do they understand what you need? Do YOU understand their needs? Do you frequently discuss what's going on? Do they have access to your calendar?

If you're an entrepreneur or content creator, do you have themed days? Do you work on specific parts of your business on specific days? Do you have 'no meeting' days? Do you color code your days? I do this and it provides so much clarity and focus for me!

When do you plan your week? Friday afternoon, Sunday evening, Monday morning? I time block my week on Sunday, and then Monday morning, I fill in what I know (in the right blocks) and then 30-mins every morning to get granular about what I'm actually going to work on that day.

If you work from home, what personal items do you have on your desk? I have a decorative cup and saucer, and as many pink desk organizers as can fit, even my bin is pink! What do you surround yourself with when you're working?

When was the last time you took a lunch break - away from your desk? When you're an entrepreneur, it can feel impossible to step away for 30 seconds, let alone 30 minutes. I've been taking a regular lunch break for a year now, and I love the mental space it's given me.

Do you 'dress for work' if you work from home? I started doing this over a year ago, and it's really helped my mindset, which can feel a bit wonky when you're WFH.
