40 hours in and noticed this. WHYYY HOWWWWW

23. ✅ Superb game, incredibly fun combat. Memorable characters. Loved it. ❌ There’s too much junk that you can’t sell, and Shizuka’s tips are quite annoying and repetitive… And it wouldn’t be Onimusha if the camera weren’t constantly screwing you over.

Calling it quits and YouTubing the rest of the story on this one. I draw the line at being forced to grind 40 fucking side quests (plus affinity charts) just to finish. Absolutely TRASHED the momentum of the story. The pacing. Absolutely not. I am so disappointed.

Normalize not allowing your CUSTOMIZABLE character, who bears your namesake, to do shit like this.

22. I’m not sure anything will touch Saga or Gears, but this came as close as it’s gotten so far (to me). Do fans generally think 3 is better? Oh well. I’ll find out soon. Btw this took me over 180 hours.

This is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a video game. (Very very minor XBC2 spoiler.)

Finally able to play this docked tonight. I’ll be setting aside the entirety of August.

20. Is it easier than Returnal? Yep. But it’s also a lot more fun and wont ever make you feel like you wasted your time. I loved Saros.

19. It really bothers me that when they remaster classic games they can’t be bothered to change some of the glaring flaws. Lazy. Disappointing. Frustrating. Boring. But the “ending” of this series is still one of the best.

I’m glad I checked and found out the P3Reload expansion is not a requirement for feeling like the game is complete, because I won’t be in the mood for seeing numbers like this until—maybe—Persona 6.

16. Another one where I got the bad ending and didn’t care. The game is really fun, progression was solid, but the story was garbage. And so are some of the trophies. A few timed side quests kept me from trying for the platinum. I still totally recommend this if you like these types of games.

15. The cover system was sooo sticky and the melee combat was boring to the point it was frustrating. But that’s it. Everything else more than made up for it, and the gunplay felt more rewarding than anything in recent memory. Best Bond story since Craig Royale.
