$0.10 per CloudWatch Alarm doesn't seem like a lot, especially when the Free Tier says you get 10 alarms free, UNTIL you automatically add 10 billing alarms to each new AWS account you create, and you keep adding accounts over the decades until you have 46 AWS accounts,

One year of Claude Code releases analyzing and visualizing the cadence alestic.github.io/claude-code-... built with Claude Code and Opus 4.6 source code: github.com/alestic/clau... #claudecode #ai

Did Claude Code auto /compact get fast and actually good when I wasn't looking? I've now had multiple sessions where Claude Code worked smoothly across multiple auto-compact operations, and I barely noticed they happened. If I can trust this, it changes everything.

I've been attending AWS re:Invent since the first one in 2012. E Every year I notice changes as the organizers observe things they can improve from the previous year. There should be no security bottleneck at Venetian check-in and badge pickup this year. AWS #reInvent
Security lanes as far as the eye can see, with security personnel (human and canine). Currently empty, waiting for the crowds to arrive.

Hopefully #awswishlist works here as well: I want that the ECR PullThrough cache makes the `library` path for official images transparent Currently it fails if the library prefix is missing but tools often allow only to set one prefix and that breaks for official images.
Two docker pull commands for ECR. One with the library prefix works while the other fails. But both should work ideally.

✅ docker pull 123456789012.dkr.ecr.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/mirror/docker-hub/library/alpine
❌ docker pull 123456789012.dkr.ecr.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/mirror/docker-hub/alpine
