1/4 Algorithms are destroying us & we’re the ones who built them. What started as a way to connect people has turned into a machine that thrives on division, outrage & echo chambers. Nobody searches for truth anymore; they search for validation. The algorithm feeds them exactly what they want to....

FYI: For those against trans girls/women in female sports, consider this: Women fought for and won the right to join male teams. In Darrin v. Gould (1975), two sisters played football, and Heather Sue Mercer’s Title IX case at Duke reshaped sports equity.

MAGAs are crazy if they think isolationism keeps us safe. Nat’l security depends on allies for intel, resources & rapid response. W/o them, another 9/11 isn’t far-fetched, & we’d lack support to strike back. Terrorists exploit weak links;strong alliances=shared intel, deterrence & force projection

1/6 For the second time in my life, I feel truly embarrassed and not proud of my country. The first time was the Iraq War and the endless conflicts in the Middle East, moments that made me question everything we’re supposed to stand for. But now, under Trump’s current presidency, that feeling....

Hope Dems’ plan(at least)is letting these clowns self destruct, stacking receipts, then cashing in post midterms. Meanwhile, tRump & the Muskrat should already be rotting in a cell. Hoping when the dust settles, democracy isn’t toast & Ukraine, Palestine & those who didn’t vote for this mess survive.

The KY senator who’s shamed me most finally did something right, voting against Hegseth & his base is losing it. I even felt a little sorry for him(briefly). W/ the country in chaos,am I bad for loving this bit of irony & drama?Probably, I just need a little schadenfreude sometimes. Confirmed, sadly.

1/2 Wild watching people turn on their own over deportation. They pushed for mass deportations, not realizing most farmers, who are conservative, depend on migrant labor. Now farmers are warning of food insecurity. Funny how a lot of them think illegal immigration just started 4 years ago.

Twitter post of people critizing a farmer who relies on migrant workers, some that are illegal.

Watching Roger Waters' "Pigs" live. The anti-tRump vibe is a strong call for resistance. A giant pig has tRump's face & the words: Ignorant, lying, racist, sexist. Wish it wasn't still relevant in 2025, but here we are. youtu.be/QWLBtMz5OuY?...

The idea of tRump naming the Gulf of Mexico the "Gulf of America" due to the USA is amusing. Geography 101: "America" refers to continents—North and South. "Gulf of the Americas" has a better ring to it, but it's still the Gulf of Mexico to me, definitely not "the Gulf of the United States". 😉😆

The tin foil hat brigade is getting on my nerves! They distrust the news media, doctors, scientists & the government yet believe every wild theory online. Rejecting decades of research, they post their "findings" on social media as gospel truth. It's a frustrating and dangerous cycle of ignorance.

Spent the day sledding with my family; it was loads of fun! I even plowed right into a kid, but thank goodness it was a tube, so he just bounced off it. 😂 Now we're all cozy with pot roast and hot chocolate for dinner. Not a bad way to wrap up the day. ❄️☕️

Say what you want about muskRat, but his H1B takes might shift the convo from culture/race wars to real class issues: how corporations exploit workers. It's cool to see people from the right standing up to the alt-right, too. Maybe they’ll have to find a new squad or crawl back under their rock. 🤞🤷‍♂️

I can’t shake how unsettling these recent aviation incidents are. Russia shot down Flight 8243 on 12/25. Then on 12/29, crashes in South Korea, Norway, Canada, and maybe Emirates (gear issues). American grounded planes on 12/24 and Japan Airlines was hacked on 12/26. Coincidence? I don't think so.😨

From a privileged background, Luigi Mangione took a bold stand against corporate greed, earning the title of a 'noble' class traitor. In contrast, Brian Thompson, from a humble background, exemplifies a 'vile' class traitor, reinforcing the very system Luigi opposes. #ClassTraitor #CorporateGreed

Chinese fantasy dramas are my guilty pleasure—whimsical worlds, epic love stories, and stunning visuals. 🌟 The artistry is incredible, especially under strict censorship. But it’s hard to enjoy guilt-free, knowing revenue supports a government that violates human rights; feel bad for the creators. ☹️
