I read the newly released Cat Lady #5, and no notes. Was purrrfect. The glimpse into Kit's past and the people she worked with was awesome. #booksky #supernaturalmystery

So #SRC2026 ended. I read 29K pages and some change. I am still reading, of course, enjoying it. Currently reading "Wish Upon the Stars", and am on Book 12. #cultivationfantasy #booksky

#SRC2026 is over. I am wrung out in the best of ways. I smashed my personal goal. Next year, my goal is to break 30K pages read. My goal this year was 20K, and I smashed that one. 56 books in one summer is impressive, and I'm happy. #readers #indiebooks

#SRC2026 Yes. I'm still reading for this. It ends on 8/31/26, and I am intent on fighting for my first place bragging rights. I'm currently at 47 books, with a total of 23,792 pages read. Goals have been obtained and surpassed - so it's the last stretch! #booksky #readers #indiebooks

Update on testing on Ellipsus - So far so good! We are 1300 words into the chapter and have found the following: 1. Live updates. We can watch each other change the document, which is huge for co-authoring. 2. Commenting - it works like in Google Docs, so yay! #indieauthor #ProjectAO #writing

#ProjectAO #indieauthor #drafting So it is official. We are testing Ellipsus with one of our chapters in Book 4 of the Mountain Fell. Initial thoughts of ellipsus are positive.

We need more disabled MAIN characters. Not just support/side cast members. I mean, I love Ogras in Defiance of the Fall but he isn't an MC. I want more folks with prosthetics, or chronic illnesses, to be the MCs in my fantasies, litrpgs, and the like. I know they exist. #booksky #indieauthor

34 Books. 17031 pages. Just finished reading Defiance of the Fall Book 1. Writing style was different so it took me longer than usual to get through this one, but the story is very good. Anyone else read this one? Also found the writing to be a bit stilted at the start? #src2026 #booksky

So Quest Academy is awesome. I finished up book 6, and am left with having just taken a nibble of the "Eat the Rich" arc as I am labeling it. IYKYK. For anyone who likes watching character growth, and seeing multiple small stories lead to larger ones - Quest Academy is for you. #booksky #heros

Magic, Maps, and Mischief by David Green Perfection. The main character is a 111 year old magic wielding map maker who is clearly autistic and is just adorable. So naive it hurts. And watching him grow and find friends and family in a new land is just marvelous. #booksky #indieauthor #SRC2026

#indieauthordiscussion I am not a fan of AI in writing. I am not against grammar tools, but AI helping in writing outside of grammar, not so much. That being said - I'm noting a disturbing trend in readers jumping on things and claiming they are AI without much - if any - proof.
