I raised my kids so they knew that if they committed a horrendous crime, I would not be the kind of mother who would visit them in prison. Trump's bragging about his and his sycophants' total lack of morals, might not be the strong selling point he thinks it is.

My Jewish parents told me that too! Also, I recently figured out why, when we were driving from the SF Bay Area, where we lived, to Lake Tahoe, we never, ever, stopped for any reason--not even for using a restroom--until we passed a certain point in the Sierras. Sundown towns.

During each of those 7 years while I was suffering from that infection, my perfectly healthy husband had an annual physical, complete with blood tests, with that same doctor who never ordered a single blood test for me.

It took 7 years for me to be diagnosed with a recurrence of a childbirth-induced abscess. During several different visits, the doctor stood in the exam room doorway, said,"It's a virus," and left. A simple blood test would have revealed a massive infection. I needed surgery to save my life.
