#OTD 10 September 1982, launch of Ariane 1 L5 with MARECS B and Sirio-2 satellites on board. Unfortunately, the flight failed 7 minutes after liftoff because of a failure of the third stage. The vehicle and payload were lost. #Space #History #SpaceHistory @transport.esa.int @esaconnectivity.esa.int
