The skilled mechanics teach people maintenance skills. I bake birthday cakes for those who don't have family who celebrate them. We get people signed up to vote & for social services. I'm so proud! My kid runs a trans mutual aid car repair club in our garage! Every month a group of 12-18 young adults, many of whom have fled to WA state & depend heavily on their cars for work or a place to sleep, sign up for everything from detailing or oil changes to new brakes! It is SUCH a lifeline! ♥️
