Tonight was my last entry in @trylon.org's Scenic Route series with "Paris, Texas," so here is my passport. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the flicks that I was able to see.

Finished fourth at bar trivia tonight, which wasn't too bad considering our team of three competed against teams of six and more. I felt especially smart as my history degree came into play and I was able to name the German building that burned in February 1933, so that was worth all the debt.

Been a while since I've been out on the neighborhood trail. The weather was perfect today so I had to get out there. No wildlife to see but I did spot some Jack-in-the-pulpit berries. A++, would walk again.

Every Halloween, Temptations puts out some absolutely tasteless and offensive treats. Olive loves them and I love giving them to her.

Great hike and great company! I had a blast showing @kcmpls.bsky.social exploding jewelweed seed pods, ghost pipes, and closed bottle gentian (pictured). This gentian is pollenated by small bees after big bees chomp holes in the closed flowers, and we saw some evidence of that today!
