Remember 1.0.0 of PresentInk a few days ago? Well, we're at 1.0.2 already :-) The latest version allows you to set different hotkeys for the various actions (go to the settings, scroll down). I also added a version check on startup (runs once per 24 hours, and only if you start it). presentink.com

I just uploaded PresentInk 1.0.0! A free to use presentation helper for MacOS ARM/Silicon that allows you to annotate on the screen in various colours, add rectangles, ellipses, arrows, text and take screenshots. It's like Zoomit (but no zooming 🙂 in PresentInk). Get it here: presentink.com

Maybe good to know: we lowered our PowerShell requirements for #PnP #PowerShell 3.0, it now runs on PowerShell 7.4, which means it should also work with Azure Automation. You need to use the latest nightly build for this. Thank you @gautamdsheth.bsky.social !

The word “login” comes from throwing a log attached to a rope with knots overboard a ship to see how many knots go by over time (see also, knots as speed). You’d then put that info in the “log book.” You’d “log in” on a regular basis. This wasn’t from 1959, it was likely from 1689! Etymology baby!

PnP PowerShell 3.0 is on it's way, but it's a taking a bit longer than we first thought. When testing PnP PowerShell 3.0 on PowerShell 7.5 we noticed some issues with app registration, which was due to the move to .NET 9.0 with PowerShell 7.5.

That's a wrap: the #MVPSummit 2025 is behind us. It's been a few years that I attended one in person, and I'm glad I went to Redmond this year. Lots of good talks, shaking hands, seeing old friends, meeting the PG members, having fun! These in-person connections and meetups are so important.

What's the oldest software (it can be updated over time) that you are still using to this date? For me it's #Steinberg #Cubase, which I started to use at the end of the 80ies of the last century on an Atari ST. I'm using that software for over 35 years to this day, on MacOS nowadays

We're considering adding support to PnP PowerShell to create Copilot agents for SharePoint. How would you want to see this? We're thinking a set of cmdlets that allow you to add grounding sources (documents/doclibs) instead of a 'single catch all' cmdlet which will have a ton of parameter switches.

My takeaway from #ESPC24 is that it is good to keep realizing that Copilot, while powerful, requires an infrastructure to get its data from. It's up to us to make sure that we take care of it and understand the implications of choices we make on it as it drives the returns we get from Copilot.

11 years ago I started to work on what is now PnP PowerShell. 10 years ago I went 'public' with it. I could have never thought, like NEVER, that that little set of cmdlets at the time would grow to be close to 800 cmdlets today and are used worldwide billions of times every month. Incredible!
