Sweat Hearts, a 4-panel comic.

1. Huely and Gelle are seen at their local comic book and hobby shop. Huely thoughtfully examines a pile of mismatched dice in his palm. Gelle looks over at him, a little puzzled. His left hand fusses with something just off screen…

“Huely, do you -really- need to buy all those dice?”

2. Huely keeps his eyes glued on his carefully selected jewel-like dice nestled in his cupped hands.

“Not really. Dice are more than just tools to me. They’re like trinkets! I like carrying some around in my pocket. It feels like they give me extra buffs to get me through my day!”

3. Gelle drops an enormous, rainbow, glittery, 20-sided die into the pile Huely is holding. Dice scatter in every direction.

I know collective nouns are both singular and plural, but it still looks weird to me. Kinda just go with what I’m comfortable with writing out since I’ve written it that way since I was a kid even when I do know this.
