I can believe that. I'm curious how some of my old technical writing may have done. But, given, at a quick search all the AI watermark detectors also seem to be running Claude or GPT under the hood, I really don't want to feed them anything.

erroch / Erah'sae Zhwan @erroch.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

For clarity, no, there is no AI involved (other than google docs spell checker, and tab word completion in Visual Studio) involved with any of the RP Event Calendar's code, imagery, etc. Never will be. I enjoy coding way too much to let something take that away from me.

erroch / Erah'sae Zhwan @erroch.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I am rather amused at code I wrote in 2016 pinging over 95% positive on some of these Claude Code watermark detectors. Why someone was AI checking my old code is beyond me though, that repo hasn't seen a commit in years.

Due to a history of malnutrition growing up, Erah'sae is a bit on the short side. He doesn't really have any particular thoughts on this excepting if someone deliberately puts things well out of his arms reach. But then, that usually just ends up with him climbing things he shouldn't.

Aurora over Raisting Earth Station with Moon - From Simeon Schmauß (stim3on.bsky.social) - flic.kr/p/2pQoiDV

What a crazy night, we went into it not expecting much since the solar storm was forecast for after sunrise in central Europe.
However, before the sun had even set, I got the alert that the first CME had impacted Earth, so the chances immediately looked a lot better. What then unfolded surpassed even our wildest expectations.
We ended up driving to this satellite ground station south of Ammersee in southern Bavaria and just when we arrived we spotted the first diffuse pillars north of us.
We experienced three waves of incredibly strong Aurora, especially for our rather Southern latitude. During the second wave we saw individual pulsating filaments dancing over our heads. What a breathtaking experience!

Many thanks to Christopher for accompanying me on this adventure, Max for being an all round great guy, and Sebastian who lent me his wide angle lenses that made these shots possible.
