When I was a kid, I got free books through Dolly’s Imagination Library. I read this book so often the cover fell off. Steel Magnolias was (and is) one of my favorite movies. I can’t tell you what it meant to be a poor, artistic kid with Dolly to look up to. RIP Dolly; we’ll always love you
