Why is it so hard to find a mechanic that actually fixes cars?

Went to an estate sale just to learn what's involved with setting one up. Accidentally bought some art. Whoops.

I wish the little 3D car camera thing knew when you were in a car wash, and would cover the fake car with soap.

In other news, holy shit heated seats. Preconditioning your car from your phone. My car has a heat pump -- more heat more pump. All awesome things, thanks modern cars. Also, you're too quiet, and pretension the seat belt when I forget to turn off ESC in snowy parking lots. You're adorable.

If you're on Android and you still haven't switched to gesture navigation, be aware that I'm judging you right now.

Android's "Navigation mode" settings screen. "Gesture navigation" is selected, describing how to go home by swiping up from the bottom, and to go back by swiping in from the left or right edge. "3-button navigation" is unselected, with the description, "Go back, home, and switch apps with buttons at the bottom of your screen."

Purchased some tiny art today.

Since folks are posting #DevDesk pics, here's mine!

A straight-on shot of a computer workstation. A 4 foot wide bamboo standing desk holds a single 49" ultra widescreen monitor. I was again toying with the idea of bringing TUJ back (to please the haters for some reason) using Undermine Exchange data. Considered keeping the TUJ frontend code and just writing an API shim to convert the UE data. I just can't do it. TUJ is just ugly inside and out. Hate looking at it.
