I had several years ago a new CotM play where I eventually got all cards with help of a guide. Only needed the card drop from the Athlete Skeleton and only took 15 minutes of crashing into them with extra Luck enabled. Speaking of the skeleton's, I believe CotM has the most Skeleton variations.

I believe my first one was Castlevania 1986. Played some of Simon's Quest and Super CV IV too around that time. Dracula's Curse was not available for me for a while, but was happy to find it as it's one of my favourites.

This game is fun, It's my first non linear Castlevania, second is SotN. I like the card system, once you figured out how each worked, it was like a cool revelation.

Making art for the sake of making it without knowing all the skill sets can be very cathartic for the progress and deliver interesting results. If there are some technical inconsistencies, that's fine as long as the piece is telling and showing what needs to be told.

Saw earlier this week how gen AI 'art' gets exposed for getting all kinds of things wrong that don't make any sense. And thus, artists should step up their art skills to outdo slop. Let me tell you that while it's good to improve your skills, you are however not responsible to outdo slop.

I realize my strength in drawing is mark making, but what good use is that if my form skills are weak. So I need to work on that, but mostly fall into the mark making mind set. At least I know where I need to improve, now to act to it. I'm just tired, resting and getting bored is where it's at.

Been making art studies because I'm literally too afraid or don't know what to draw. I thought things would get better with age, but that is not the case for me. It's like my life is in very hard mode than ever before. Drawing feels like my brain is getting fried and it tires me endlessly. Just no.
