thinking about a Julie defense field that watches jetstream for new accounts and preemptively blocks them before they can follow us

it's gonna be a different week!!

a screenshot of this week's album chart, which i'm filling with my music tastes

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 05/10/2026

kind of embarrassing >_<; but thank you 🩷

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 05/10/2026

a screenshot of emilia on some final fantasy dragoon high jump shit with an ice spear, telling her opponent he better remember her damn name

this is now an emilia screenshot account

Emilia looking badass as hell doing an inverted superhero landing on a floating ice platform she calmly summoned exactly 1 second after nearly dying

cracking up at the alt text i wrote on this

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 04/10/2026

wasting my precious precious time posting dumb stuff on our alt when i _should_ be making a playlist to compete with kara for last.fm chart slots

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 04/10/2026

let's see Paul Allen's shitpost about Julie

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 04/10/2026

i should make you script that does this in a single step since you love copy pasting posts from genius dot com so much

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 04/10/2026

you can't prove this was me!!

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 04/10/2026

(hoping the answer is yes tbc)

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 04/10/2026

is that technically selfcest or nah?

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 04/10/2026

by choosing our follows carefully, #1 eliminates basically all discourse and other upsetting content from our feed

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 04/10/2026

it's a custom Following feed i made in Rust. the main things it does right now are: 1. hide reposts and quote posts of people i don't follow 2. hide reply conversations between moots (but not a person's own thread replies for example) 3. hide spammy content (ngl.link, bubbles/circles, etc.)

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 02/10/2026

i maintain a custom feed generator for us just so we can have total control over content filtering

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 02/10/2026

that's a pretty badass subject line for an email i could not possibly have cared less to receive

an email from Headspace with the subject "Headspace is now part of Sword"

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 02/10/2026

inline links to posts don't add to the QP count 🤔

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 02/10/2026

i'm feeling a lot better today. still barely got 5 hours of sleep, but it does feel like i was actually unconscious, not just pretending all night 😔

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 02/10/2026

even if i used AI i would think using it for this, and spending all the time and energy posting about it, was huge loser behavior

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 02/10/2026

also thanks for asking :P 🩵🩷

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 02/10/2026

what i want to do is make a bluesky drafting tool that supports formatting, complex drafts (like a draft that QPs another draft), multiple accounts, scheduling, etc. (and then maybe ask people to subcribe to my ko-fi for $1/mo or something to use it…)

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 02/10/2026

long story short: the protocol supports inline links, but for whatever reason the client doesn't provide a way to make them what i made yesterday was a quick and easy way for us to post manually using the bluesky API

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 02/10/2026

oh well, at least i can make rich text posts now. maybe someday i'll get a courtesy, “how did you do that?” or two

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 01/10/2026

creating entirely new posting technologies today

i'm going to be using an easing function to progress quickly through the part where the profile pictures are mixed together, but it's surprisingly legible even at the halfway mark

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 01/10/2026

okay, shipped lol lexi's new pfp will gradually appear over the next 30 days

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 01/10/2026

on the other hand, i found a funny repost when i searched our account for "device", so maybe it was worth it

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 01/10/2026

i can use it over bluetooth instead, but it still feels bad, like everything is falling apart around me and i can't do anything about it

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 01/10/2026

the USB receiver for my wireless mouse broke ^_^ i'm fine! this is ok!!

what if i just used photoshop cs6? what then, adobe?

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 30/09/2026

i really jumped the gun posting this before i wrote the script to do it

erika 💚🧡 @erika.lexi.fyi · 30/09/2026

i don't worry about a "top shortage" because it seems relatively easy to stand out by just, for example, writing my own dialogue
