Best new simpsons in years wtf

Eric Slater @ericslater.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Engage as a story was eh but gameplay wise its the best switch era FE it flows really well. Really hoping Fortune's Weave picks up in other routes I've found Leda's a bit lacking

I just don't really agree that his ex lied? She just came across as way crazier and deluded about what their fling was than he did. Don't recall seeing anything she said confirmed as a lie tho.

Yea I think its weird just not a smoking gun

000

Eric Slater @ericslater.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

But I'm totally willing to believe its not true I just don't think his exs character should be considered 100% damning evidence

000

Eric Slater @ericslater.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I feel like its not that crazy of a timing if they planned it together, no. Regardless of any other new evidence I just think his ex being a pos about it doesn't magically make it less true, Shayy also had a bunch of annoying bad faith people tacked on to their callout that watered it down.

Eric Slater @ericslater.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

You have shown literally nothing that says its fake like his ex could've just been reached out to by the victim, people teaming up for takedowns happens, like Shayy. She can be crazy *and* it could be real.

This is good, the show was a really great standalone story and would be watered down by forcing continuations. Not everything needs to be bloated and interconnected and multilayered, sometimes simple is better.

It is now 9 years since Sonic Mania came out 😱... another trivia nugget: at one point we had a screen that showed you the animals that were inside the Heavies giving them their personalities! It didn't make the cut (maybe didn't comply with brand guidelines or there wasn't enough time IDK)

I had this guy I liked that I swam with basically every week for two summers in middle school and then just poof, stopped visiting my city. But that's life 🤡

They have NOTHING. We are a year in to the switch 2 and there is NOTHING

000

Eric Slater @ericslater.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

Genuinely the worst direct I've ever seen. 90% ports of games that have been out for years, 5 seconds of new info about games we already knew about, Kingdom Heart 4 still looks slow and floaty and shows us only opening footage, Xeno looks like a Fire Emblem, Ocarina looks like ass. There is no hope.

Everyone's look feels so fresh but still like 100% captures who they are, so good. Ragatha with a kind of feathery look to her hair is like especially so unique I love it

Complete waste of time to care about all these characters when they have absolutely 0 consistency by the end. Like the Boys constantly oscilated hating and loving each other 50000 times an episode who tf cares about their resolution

000

Eric Slater @ericslater.bsky.social · 20/05/2026

Boys finale was awful, just all talking, needless drama, half the characters have no point, just absurdly sloppy and all over the place and rushed (like the entire season). Doesn't even feel like the real end you just know it'll spin off forever.

100

Eric Slater @ericslater.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

Begging The Boys to have consistent writing for one episode or at least give me one good action scene 🤡 even the Homelander plot stopped being interesting and he used to be one of my favorite villains ever
