Tot slot kijk ik wel met licht ongemak dat een 80-jarige VS generaal geboren tijdens WO2 nu gaat (mee)besluiten over de Europese veiligheid. Ik hoop dat Europa ook actief aan die onderhandelingen deelneemt want “if you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu.” Werk aan de winkel voor Europa. /end
