I'm not sure how much confidence we can place on this, but it's perhaps worth showing in the context of this story - the NOTAMS to the northwest and northeast are still in effect, as is the Kura NOTAM. However the NOTAMs east from Plesetsk have been withdrawn.
Map showing NOTAMs fanning out from Plesetsk/White Sea, Russia, with an inset showing NOTAM over Kura test range in Russia's far east.Map from yesterday showing NOTAMs fanning out from Plesetsk/White Sea, Russia, with an inset showing NOTAM over Kura test range in Russia's far east. Circled are two NOTAMs going east from Plesetsk which are not replicated in todays map.

Burevestnik test season update: The chartered support ships are currently sailing out to test positions for the first time and support aircraft, at least one Be-976 and a Mainstay, have been at Rogachevo for some time. Actual flight test(s?) are likely over the coming weeks.

Two PRIP/NAVWARNs for Northern Fleet missile firings, between the 28th and 2nd, have been published today. While Navy Day formally is on Sunday the 26th, this might be for a parade replacement exercise, similar to last year. Not shown; Two artillery PRIPs for the 28th.

We have only had one ship visit so far (Teriberka), the floating pier hasn't been deployed yet, and there seems to be no personnel at Pankovo over the winter, so it will take time before they are ready for actual tests. But, the season is underway.

This submarine rescue exercise likely happened on the 5th, on the northern side of Motovskiy Bay. Sentinel-2 caught Georgiy Tvitov, along with a number of smaller ships.

Sentinel-2 caught the Kirov-class cruiser Admiral Nakhimov again earlier today, in Dvina Bay. Here, Nakhimov has just put the wheel over, while kicking up a decent rooster tail, indicating high speed.

The Pankovo / Burevestnik season has begun. This AIS contact in the bay is Teriberka (IMO: 9081291), an old regular on the Novaya Zemliya supply runs, including both to Pankovo and Severny.

There seems to have been a change of policy on such measures, both in the Baltic- and Northern Fleets. This could be an attempt to apply lessons from the war more broadly, or it might say something about their threat perceptions.

The mod Kirov-class cruiser Admiral Nakhimov was moved to the Sevmash deperm pier last week, and was still there yesterday, though then turned around. This was her first movement of the year and does indicate that a resumption of the sea trials could be around the corner.

A quick attempt at visualising a selection of Russian NOTAMs associated with this over the coming week. Note these can be removed & others added in their place etc. very quickly, e.g. I'd expect additions for Kura. Thanks to @thelookout.bsky.social for making sense of what was/is happening.

Simplest explanation is someone forgot, or didn't see the point: but anyway, somewhat curiously, the SFC-UNL NOTAMs still in place over the Dombarovskiy launch site, the stage drop zone & Kura. (Generally observe that the Russians pull NOTAMs pretty quick when they're done.)

Alliance Fairfax, the US flagged ship that departed PG yesterday, is an example of the IMO under appreciated role of allies in US strategic sealift. The ship is operated by Farrell Lines, a subsidiary of Danish Maersk, and owned by Norwegian Höegh Autoliners.

CENTCOM blockade update. Looking at the reporting around it, most of it zoomed in on Hormuz, there seems to be a lack of understanding as to what the Americans actually have declared. My impression is that this operation is a by-the-book affair too.

Still can't find any Notice to Mariners, NAVWARN or similar on the US blockade of Iran. Has anyone seen anything? Instructions do have to be published, but perhaps they aren't ready yet. Another thing: When looking at traffic, I would recommend zooming out from Hormuz

Think this settles the question of whether there actually are real mines in Hormuz, though the quantity remains unknown in public. "as part of a broader mission to ensure the strait is fully clear of sea mines previously laid by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps"
