The sidewalk debate continues. Our quiet little neighborhood might get a couple more bikes riding through it. Oh no!! And our "rural" character 1/4 mile from a major metro station is going to be ruined with a new sidewalk on one side of the street! Whatever will we do!

My other favorite is if we build sidewalks then we have to shovel them, and if we don't shovel them, people with physical disabilities will be harmed. So it's clearly better for everyone if they just push their wheelchair down the middle of the street in the snow because the road will be plowed.
