Here is the roughly-outlined vision. Any interest?
Horror Writing Bootcamp Curriculum Overview
Course Overview
This month-long horror-writing bootcamp is aimed at writers on a budget. The ideal student for this course is someone who has been writing for a bit but has only recently gotten interested in pursuing publication. On the scale of brand-new writer (1) to seasoned writer (10), this person is probably a 3 or 4.

Course Structure
This course will include four one-hour-long meetings spread out over a month. It would be open to ten students. Eight slots will be $100 each, and the other two will be free, reserved for writers who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford the course. There will be minimal hoop-jumping involved in requesting a free spot.

Each course meeting will have a different theme:
Horror with a Fresh Face: Breathing New Life into Old Monsters
I’ve Got a Bad Feeling about This Place: Developing Atmosphere-Rich Settings
Stop Explaining So Much: Respecting the Strange … and Your Reader
It’s Showtime: Submitting to Short Story Markets

Students will have work to complete before each class—generally, one short story or article to read (freely accessible online) and one short writing assignment to complete. We will discuss the readings in relation to each week’s theme. I will also provide written feedback on the writing assignments. Periodically, we will do in-class writing exercises, followed by opportunities to share work and give peer/instructor feedback.

By the end of this course, students will have finished a 1,000- to 3,000-word story. I will provide one round of feedback on these stories, and students will find markets to submit them to after a round of revision.

You heard Elford! Lonesome and Festering is gruesome, pissed off, and mean. If that's your kind of horror, preorder my collection here: www.cursedmorselspress.com/product/lone...
A five-star review by Elford Alley: Gruesome body horror delivered with righteous fury. Raglin has always excelled with the short story, starting with his first collection, 2021's Nightmare Yearnings. His voice has only grown stronger, and far more pissed off. Lonesome and Festering is a collection of mean horror stories, which you won't soon forget.

New ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review of Lonesome and Festering just dropped! Rebecca appreciated its grossness, absurdity, and--huh, would you look at that--earnestness. If that kind of horror is your thing, preorder a copy: www.cursedmorselspress.com/product/lone...
Thank you for the ARC! Raglin’s work is always entertaining. Lonesome And Festering left me giddy with disgust in the best way possible. The grossness and absurdity is refreshing and cathartic, I love anything that pushes against the usual horror tropes. At the same time, every story has an underlying earnestness, whether I’m rooting for the protagonist or not. Also there are multiple repulsive holes! Personal favorites were The Cystress and Fumigate Me.

My review of Hermit and Pig, a fun and cute video game that loves hitting you over the head and never truly lets you sit with the darkness it brushes up against.
Hermit and Pig is a cute, fun game about the impossibility of retreating from society so long as the worst capitalist institutions on Earth remain. The game starts you in that cozy, illusory place of solitude--a slightly grungy digs in the middle of the woods, far away from anyone. But the solitude doesn't last long, and soon you're snout-deep in the precarity and violence of late capitalism, represented by the mysterious DT corporation.

The game doesn't shy away from themes like worker disposability and police brutality, but it also never feels all that heavy; the dialogue is consistently lighthearted, often funny and absurd. It's also very obvious that it's trying to communicate a message: Capitalism Bad, Cops Violent, Corporations Evil. I agree with those ideas, but their presentation is so direct that it sometimes feels dull. The game holds your hand and points out every Important Takeaway rather than letting these takeaways marinate through subtler suggestion or ever truly letting the player feel their darkness. A better version of the game would probably be subtler and darker without losing the whimsy and humor. That's a delicate balance, and I applaud anyone who can make it work.

These critiques aside, I did enjoy the game. The combat system is fun, if a little frustrating at times (I'm slow with the combos!), and I dug the enemy designs. If you want an entertaining eight or so hours, give it a go. Just don't expect top-notch story and writing.

"The Wolf" is about an artistic high school student and the supernaturally predatory military recruiter who won't leave him alone. You can read it in Shortwave Magazine and, if you want to read more of my work, preorder my upcoming collection Lonesome and Festering from the Cursed Morsels store.
Inside is a business card as black as the witching hour. Its gold print reads, Corporal Randy Mills, followed by contact information and a recruitment office address. When Hunter drops the card, ink peels away, a circular black dot sticking to his index finger. He licks his thumb and rubs the stain, but it’s as stubborn as a tattoo.

“Did I mention the enlistment bonus?” Mills asks.

The opening page of my workplace surveillance horror story, "Rest Not, for You Have Scarcely Toiled," featured in the anthology.
Rest Not, For You Have Scarcely Toiled
by Eric Raglin
Three criers in a row were too many for one shift. The first woman was all sniffles and snot; the second, heaving sobs; and the third, one long haunting wail that put Thalia’s heart in a vice grip.
Stick to the script, her boss always said about these tough conversations. Never let yourself get trapped on a call.
But how could Thalia possibly recite her next line when a debtor was lamenting what had become of their life? A tragedy of three part-time jobs patchworked together and a dementia-ridden mother waiting for care at home. “I caught Mom drinking dish soap last night. Puke on her shirt and bubbles in her mouth. How am I supposed to keep her safe when my third shift of the day starts in fifteen minutes? And how the fuck am I supposed to deal with you people on top of that?”

Writers: if you're struggling to convince bookstores and libraries to carry your books, you gotta take the absolutely audacious approach Walt Whitman uses in this poem. He really said, "Oh, you already have 1,000,000 books? Well, none that have seen the shit I've seen. Let me in!"
SHUT not your doors to me, proud libraries,
For that which was lacking on all your well-fill'd shelves, yet
        needed most, I bring;
Forth from the army, the war emerging—a book I have made,
The words of my book nothing—the drift of it everything;
A book separate, not link'd with the rest, nor felt by the intellect,
But you, ye untold latencies, will thrill to every page;
Through Space and Time fused in a chant, and the flowing, eternal
        Identity,
To Nature, encompassing these, encompassing God—to the joyous,
        electric All,
To the sense of Death—and accepting, exulting in Death, in its turn,
        the same as life,
The entrance of Man I sing.
