For Xmas I made my son a pair of Minecraft torches. They’re 3d printed (my first foray into transparent filament) with remote controlled LEDs inside. I’m really happy with the final look of the paint job!

I’ve got the details of the mask painted in and feeling pretty satisfied with the thing! I tried a brushable latex liquid mask for the first time, which was really successful once I got the hang of it. Watch out, posting hole on main 🤭

The deluge of texts over CA redistricting have started. I don’t know if this will actually make it back to Newsom’s team, much less affect his actions but it at least makes me feel like I can make use of being permanently on every Dem’s text list
