I don't especially want to pile on this woman who's obviously struggling with the outsized costs of car ownership in NYC, but there's some irony in that the photo she's using to illustrate her petition clearly features a car parked on the sidewalk. Predatory parking, indeed.

So lucky to get to see the incomparable David Byrne and his terrific band at Forest Hills Stadium last night. From the two Talking Heads shows I saw there in 1983 to his 2018 stop to last night, no artist and venue have ever seemed such a perfect match.
