One of the many reasons I love and support Aldi, any store (or job really) that insists that their employees stand (for no purpose really), is just cruelty for the sake of cruelty. Giant Eagle is notorious for this practice, among many other companies.

I worked in a meat department at a grocery store in my late 20's, and an older coworker used to always cook sausage samples with a mix of Dr Pepper and grape jelly, and for whatever reason, they were always delicious.

That's the tough part about it. Nighttime is usually the only time I can watch a movie and relax, and last night my wife also wanted to work on a project (and had work in the morning), so we were both a little flustered, especially once she was still awake pushing past midnight

Thank you! Yeah, she still wears diapers but we've been working on getting her to use the potty. I know once she's using it, she needs a regular bed anyways, so she can get up to use it. My wife got one a while back but we haven't set it up, so she still just has the crib.

So last night the Gremlin figured out how to climb out of her crib (twice), so we brought her up to bed with us, but she wouldn't stop talking and trying to play with the dogs, well into the night. Any advice from parents, if their kids ever did this? She's 3 years old.

I always try to take an allergy pill before I go out to mow or rake leaves etc, but most times I forget until after, lol. My wife bought a big tub of generic Zyrtec from Costco awhile back, and those do seem to help.

I'm old enough to remember the ONLY checks ever sent under his admin was approved by Congress for Covid relief, and ended up being delayed because he "wanted his name on them". No DOGE checks No Tariffs refund (for consumers) Nothing The dumb folks will eat this up, though (basically his base)

Yep! My dog accidentally re-enacted it on me a few years ago when I dozed off on the couch and he woke me up, and I had to wear a bandage over my eye for a week, lol. Still gives me shivers to think about it.

Oh absolutely. Some cheap chain pizza, a couple of Surge 2-liters, and some blocky PS1 Silent Hill creatures, definitely made for an epic sleepover. We had both that, and Evil Dead (yeah, it had a PlayStation game), what a fun weekend of horror games, and me ultimately getting lost, lol.

I've only played the first one, but loved the atmosphere. Rented it with a high school buddy for a weekend sleepover, and while I sucked at it (I just kept getting lost), eventually just watched him play, and fell asleep on his bedroom floor, lol.

Update on my dental journey: so the place I visited last month for X-rays and a consult was just WAY out of our budget (even WITH insurance) for actual dental care, but I learned of a lower-cost alternative in Ohio (AxessPointe) that can see and give me a consult in a couple of weeks. Teeth, man.
