Here’s the thing: AI isn’t going to improve the world. We know this because it’s already failing to do that. It does a few nice things at the cost of making a lot of things worse. Why should we accelerate or even tolerate the bad things for the hollow promise of a shining city on a hill?

One of the things that’s as galling as it is bewildering about Sony planning to be done with physical games is that their digital store experience is amateurish. They do a terrible job showcasing what’s new and interesting.

JGSDF Type 07-III Tank Nacchin gunpla, rootin’ tootin’ and splootin’ its way into your hearts. #gunpla

An assembled model of a squat robot that vaguely and endearingly resembles an overweight person with cat legs. Its torso is a barrel chest with a protrusion in the front that evokes a large bosom draping over a beer belly. It is wielding two firearms akimbo - one long gun with a scope and a machine pistol with a drum magazine. It has huge armor plates mounted on its shoulders to protect it. It looks both cute and lethal.

The same model in a different pose, sitting on its rump with its legs splayed out at an obtuse angle. It is brandishing its guns in the air. Still cute.

Quote Repost your art with wings

A painted miniature of a Age of Sigmar Sylvaneth arch-revenant. It’s a thin, muscular figure with red skin and grey hair. Both of its legs and its right arm have been replaced with an exoskeleton made of a living tree. He holds a halberd with a pitch black blade in his left hand and a bronze buckler in the right. His right foot is standing atop the skull of a large creature, a tree growing out of its eye sockets. On his back, an insectoid creature is hanging with great wings exposed, giving the figure an impressive wingspan of pinkish wings. The archrevenant is wearing a half skirt of leaves. On his head is a helmet with some kind of animal horns cork-screwing upwards about three times the height of the helm itself over his head.

Took longer than I wanted because I gave myself permission to fall apart a bit in the past quarter, but I’ve finished Bo-Katan and the Clan Kryze warband. #StarWarsShatterpoint #Shatterpoint #MiniaturePainting

A painted miniature of an armored Star Wars Mandalorian in dark blue-grey armor with bright blue accents. Her helmet has recessed grey swirls and a white overcoat to resemble an owl’s face. She is hovering a few feet off the ground after a blast from her jet pack, which is leaving a trail of smoke like a rocket from the twin jets. She is pointing her left arm with its micro rockets forward while brandishing a blaster pistol upwards in her right hand.

An ensemble photo of the painted Clan Kryze warband figures. The same figure as the previous photos is in front. Behind on her right is a male armore figure in bright blue and shiny armor pointing a blaster pistol forward. Behind her on her left is another female warrior in dark blue and shiny armor hovering on a jet pack and pointing her blaster forward as well.

An acrylic canvas painting depicting Dracula's castle from Castlevania lit by a bright red moon, and sitting amongst high mountains, and a deep pine Forest, that all transitions into a drop of blood spattering at the bottom of the canvas.

The is the second of my #StarWarsShatterpoint Clan Kryze Mandalorians, finally painted after I let so many things jump in front of her in queue. Bo-Katan is next. #MiniaturePainting

A painted figure of an armored Mandalorian from Star Wars. She is wearing unpainted Beskar Steel armor and a Spartan-style helmet. She is hovering a few feet off the ground from a blast of her jet pack. She is pointing her blaster with an outstretched arm.

A reverse angle of the same figure. This angle shows us the flames jetting out of the booster pack, leaving a plume of smoke down to the ground which is keeping the Mandalorian aloft.
