I was still zoomed in too far when I heard this one walking over leaves in the arroyo. Only this shot caught anything but I got within a few feet of it, enough to hear it start growling. I bailed and left it alone. I think they're juvenile siblings.

Quite soft but still holding form, chopped up roughly. Added white and purple onion, jalapeño, lemon 🍋 juice from the tree, salt, pepper, oregano. Tastes amazing so far. Will make tacos in a bit.

Could be more perfected but these were barely all we got. If there was more, it could have ripened a bit more. Some of them are like tomato paste. Deep dark color, melting, velvety texture. Some are less so. Chickens are pretty into any scraps in all this processing.
