don’t think Drink has the juice to get #Mizzou over the hump but also don’t think this program can pull in a big name coach

“despite court ruling” we’re inching closer and closer to traditional outlets stating that the administration is breaking the law, which is what’s happening somewhat concerning, though, that they’re still holding back when it’s directly impacting their field

attempting to momentarily distract myself from the state of the world with a #BirdOfTheDay post here’s a yellow-bellied sapsucker with lovely #red markings on its head 🪶

can’t say for certain that this guy was angry, but it’s easy to imagine he was #AngryBirds #BirdOfTheDay 🪶

oooo i have a recent one that works quite well for #Contrast #BirdOfTheDay 🪶

A wide shot of a great egret slowly walking through a marsh. The bottom half of the egret is in contrast with the water, which almost looks black bc of the lighting. The top half is in contrast with greenery, including algae

don’t think i will ever get over the fact that City got Ndiaye for £65 million when Enzo went for £125 million

000

Eric Auer Lee @ericauerlee.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

well, yesterday was a disappointment i do think we would have been fine without Flo if we had kept Beto. alas

000

Eric Auer Lee @ericauerlee.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Ndiaye at that price is a steal for City, but i must say i would rather have Grealish than Richarlison at this point think #Everton might be overpaying for Flo but hope i am wrong!

granted these are two different races but … Demuth won the primary with a plurality and by 11 points: rising figure with leadership skills Flanagan won the primary with a majority and by 20 points: concerns that she’s too far left

Screenshot of the bottom of the front page of the Star Tribune. This story has a headline that reads:

Demuth’s rise indicative of her leadership style

Flanagan’s next challenge: Unifying DFL to keep Craig voters from Tafoya

maybe i’m being a little too critical, but it sure seems like the Star Tribune is carrying water for GOP candidates and not giving Democratic candidates similar favorable coverage

my OCD has been roouuugh recently. just dragging me all over the place and eating up large chunks of my days shit sucks but that’s not the point, just some context during stretches like this, we take wins and find joy where we can i voted today, a small joy that won’t be taken for granted

the story itself does much better with its framing, but headlines are important too! not everyone reads the whole story!

000

Eric Auer Lee @ericauerlee.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

i think this headline speaks to where we are as a society. is this actually “ratting out” or is it holding them accountable? www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2026/...

Screenshot of a Washington Post headline and subhead that read:

Colorado residents are ratting out neighbors over water use during drought

Scofflaws violating water restrictions have sparked tension throughout Denver, turning residential streets into checkerboards of virtue and vice.

well, all good things must come to an end**. we’ll regroup and be focused for the playoffs next week 😤 **this is such a weird phrase and there are plenty of good things that don’t end

massive kickball game tonight. trying to end the regular season undefeated, which would be quite the turnaround after going 3-4 in the spring we’ve got a tough opponent (beat us 3-1 in the spring) and we’ll be down a few regulars, but don’t doubt the Incrediballs
