Some surprises: frontier models don't always win, and cost doesn't always track with quality. Results → gitbench.gitkraken.com 021

Eric Amodio @eric.amod.io · 02/07/2026Anyone else noticed the Canvas in the Gemini webapp barely works anymore? I can't seem to get the models (3.5 Flash or 3.1 Pro) to use the canvas at all (though they SAY they did) or they do actually use it, but it's only a code file without any preview mode. Been happening for a week or more now. 020

Eric Amodio @eric.amod.io · 21/05/2026Yeah they split the app into 2 apps and completely f'd the migration. On both my machines the IDE doesn't open. I uninstalled the ADE part and then IDE opens again but lost all my config (settings, extensions, etc and their import doesn't work). AND if you install the ADE app again it breaks the IDE 110
