Got round to reading Farage two page “manifesto” in yesterday’s Mail. Populist slogans/unfunded promises strung together in a piece designed to portray 🇬🇧 as third world. Watched Mrs Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure why this films gets so much bad press but perhaps because it’s so different from the books? Regardless, it was a pleasant watch but perhaps a bit too dark for very young children.

Watched It Ends With Us last night - despite the controversy - it was a surprisingly real exploration of domestic abuse for a Hollywood film. More ambiguous than the book, if nothing else, leaves you as the viewer unsure how it will end.
