The Loch Ness monster of architecture, the few pictures we've seen are blurred and out of focus. It's more likely to be a ladder leant against a wall with a weather balloon tied to it.

I did, being late Gen X it was basically catnip, and as a massive nerd I especially enjoyed s8 and the slight smugness when I figured out the references moments before the reveal!

I’m going to put money on it being a bent member of staff on the base selling fuel on the sly. If it’s anything else then Four Lions will turn out to be a documentary and I’m not ready for that level of insanity 😂

My old man had an original Startac back in ‘96 and I remember us using the term mobile phone, anything prior to that was some sort of yuppie brick and/or attached to the car!

But that requires the police to pick (or be ordered to pick) a side and given the parlous state of police leadership I don’t hold out much hope for hard decisions to be made.

Bit like the Drug Dealing Telephone Restrictions Order 2017. The courts can order a sim to effectively poison any handset it gets placed in. Realistically though, most of the cash is probably criminal so it just needs some financial investigators pointed at it.

I tried to get pictures but failed. The swifts/swallows/housemartins have been active all day over the maize fields up here in the far NW, presumably fattening up for their migration.

I would argue that joyless pedants and scolds sit across the political spectrum, it’s just that those on the left are less likely to tell them to piss off.

🇺🇦 News: Ukraine pulls off a wild hoax in occupied Crimea. As we know Russians have to purchase gasoline via QR Codes. What Ukraine did, was fabricate fake codes, that when Russians bought them to purchase petrol… it was actually going to a donation fund to help Ukraine’s war efforts against Russia😂

High in the Swiss Alps, on a concrete dam wall more than 8,000 feet above the sea, someone bolted thousands of solar panels to a place almost no one thought

I switched from Gmail Workspace to Migadu, the only pain was migrating some 50,000 emails (I should have a clear out), but imapsync sorted that out. Also Migadu will appeal most to the inveterate domain collector, or someone supporting many users - it’s the most “early ‘net” of the lot!

We've recently lost a couple of our old boys. It's horrible, especially when you have to make the decision. Don't be ashamed. They're family and you're allowed to be anxious and worried for them, and when it happens you're allowed to be upset and to grieve for them.

If you’re using WorldPay then that is your look out. In any case, if your customers want to use cards then you’re going to have to pay a processing fee. It’s a cost of business, and hardly a burdensome one once you acknowledge that cash handling also has a cost.

That's the fault of the US for having consumer-hostile banking systems. In the rest of the world, you ain't paying 3% unless you're running a massage parlour. You still have to pay to depost cash in any case.
