Daragh Fleming gets the last word tonight. Good night friends. "Men being silent needs to stop. Silence is enforced by shame. You’re shamed for speaking, calling problematic behaviour out. We need to call out other men who are saying fucked up shit."

Pretty clear to me there’s a very good case against this man for mass murder, and I’m saying that in as measured a fashion as I can. He’s order the killing of 234 people under no plausible war or legal justification. I am skeptical he will ever face legal accountability for til his but he should.

SNL should do that thing where they don’t embellish or add jokes, just repeat Hegseth verbatim. He is the joke. I just wish it was funny.

Do we seriously have to do Maoist newspeak every single time an 80 year old posts his idiotic ideas on the internet. It has been AI since before I was even born. Can literally anyone have a shred of dignity.

Trump’s new AI website is kinda fun, it turns out.
Can the president use taxpayer funds to air his old campaign ads on TV?

No. Federal appropriations law has long barred using taxpayer funds for political advertising.

The idiotic gaffe aside, was being in the same city as Willis supposed to be definitive proof of collusion? And the day after she made her affair public! Well that cinches it!

Because he thinks Republicans and Democrats as two rival companies. Like Macy’s v. Gimbels. Coke v. Pepsi. “His” company has been given the service and licensing contract for the U.S., in perpetuity. And as the CEO, he decides… everything.

Someone actually directed this. “Ok Mr. President, walk down this hallway looking strongly stern, bigly in charge, and masculine.” Unfortunately, Trump is not that good of an actor.

The amount of Amazon workers relying on SNAP and Medicaid has nearly tripled since 2020 — while Amazon’s annual profits soared by over 550%. It’s the same story everywhere: corporate profits are at record highs, while workers’ share of the economy is at a record low. We must unrig the system.

Someone did at one point. He kept asserting it as if it were fact but when the reporter didn’t back down, you could almost see him deflate while he mumbled something about someone had “given him the numbers and I don’t know, those were the numbers I was given.”

Public health is at its best when you don't even notice it's working. It doesn't just pop up during a pandemic. It's clean water. It’s food safety. It’s disease prevention. It’s protecting our communities before a crisis hits. That's why we need public health champions in Congress!

🚨 Obama rejects the argument that the market and lawsuits alone can keep AI companies in check: “That’s not how we treat airlines, or drug companies, or food companies.” He says there’s “no replacement” for effective government regulation.

The Greenland “deal” epitomizes Trump. A huge amount of drama, a huge amount of damage that won’t be fixed for years and maybe never. And in the end he gets literally nothing but the diplo equivalent of Danish FIFA peace prize. 🏆 Stood down by Greenland and Denmark. Both hilarious and pathetic. Sad!

AI advocates say we have no right to stop innovation in the free market. Hogwash. We don’t allow corporations to come up with new nuclear weapons or varieties of cocaine or biological pathogens. We protect the public from certain kinds of innovation. We need guardrails on AI before it’s too late.
